New Forms, Dates, Rules and Laws from CFPB

CFPB Preview

The goal of the upcoming changes from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is to ensure that the forms the consumer signs at closing are not confusing.  They eliminate the Good Faith Estimate, and early TILA form, and replace with a new Loan Estimate.  The HUD-1 Settlement Statement and the Final TILA form will become a brand new Closing Disclosure form.

There are new rules about when these forms have to be delivered and how long consumers have to review them!

We’ve done our homework, and we are here to guide you through it!
